I Timothy 4:1-3
Recently, there has been a lot of internet discussion in "religious" circles about the Wycliffe Bible Translators and the Summer Institute of Liguistics (SIL) issuing a Bible that removes all references to God as "Father" or Jesus as his "Son" or to Jesus as the "Son of God".
The reason for this is to be able to market a Bible to the Muslim faith that will not be offensive to their religious sensibilities. You see, Islam teaches that Jesus Christ was a Prophet, Healer, and a Teacher, but that he was NOT the Son of God, nor was he crucified, so he was NOT resurrected from the dead as the Bible tells us. Any Muslim who would confess that God has a Son named Jesus Christ is guilty of the Islamic sin of "Shirk" and unless he recants would most likely be beheaded or hanged for that sin.
Before we get to the meat of this post I would like to say that Wycliffe and SIL have issued statements denying that they have created such blasphemous Bibles.
Their response in part is, "While we have never intentionally sponsored a translation that neglects to properly communicate the divine familial terms, some observers have raised concerns about whether our methodology has consistently met our goal. We are listening to those concerns and are seeking God's guidance as we re-evaluate our methodology and investigate to ensure that our committment to accurate and clear translation is being reflected in every project."
SIL responded by saying, "Without reservation, SIL's scripture translation practice is to use wording which accurately communicates to the intended audience the relationship of Father by which God chose to describe Himself in relationship to His Son, Jesus Christ, as is stated in the original languages of scripture."
I personally have not seen the "new translation" myself, but the accusation is that for example, Matthew 28:19 has been changed from "baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit" to a more Muslim friendly, "cleanse them by water in the name of Allah, his Messiah, and his Holy Spirit."
First, changing the original intent of the word of God is a no-no. Second, if this example is in fact a true example then both translator/publishers just issued a bald faced lie. Allah is NOT the God of the Bible and to even write his name in the place of God is blasphemy. Allah has a Messiah, but he has not yet come, he is known as the Mahdi, or 12th Imam, and he is the Antichrist of the Bible. Allah does not have a holy spirit, he has a demon spirit, because he is Satan.
Note: Allah =Moon God=Set=Bel=Baal=Horus=Moloch=etc..
The intent of this garbage is no different than the intent of current evangelical leaders like Rick Warren, Bill Hybels, Tony Campolo, Brian McLaren, Paul Wilkinson, etc... in trying to merge all faiths together into a global religious utopia.
The world see's the two most "fundamentalist" faiths as Christianity and Islam, and history shows that Christians are more prone to "compromise" than Muslims, hence, we see movements like this one to include Muslims in another "Abrahamic" faith with a watered version of the Bible, and other movements like "Christlam" being pushed by these "leaders" of modern evangelicalism.
Everything you see here is just another basket full of seducing spirits and doctrines of Devils pointed out in the scriptural introduction. We are in the end times and these "evangelical leaders" are part and parcel of the plan of Satan to introduce a new ONE WORLD RELIGION which will eventually be based in Rome then Babylon. It will be guided by the Antichrist and his False Prophet who will reign down persecution on the remaining Jews and others who did not receive Christ before the Rapture.
"And I saw Thrones, and they that sat upon them, and judgement was given unto them and I saw the souls of them who were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the the Word of God, and which had not worshipped the Beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."
This scripture taken from Revelation 20:4 has John describing what he see's in Heaven during his vision on the Isle of Patmos. It says that the AntiChrist (Beast) will "behead" those who will not worship him, or his image, or will not take his mark.
I can only think of two religious faiths that have historically forced people to accept their dogma and doctrine under threat of the sword, Catholicism and Islam. Both faiths have beheaded people for their witness for Jesus Christ and for the Word of God. One faith has historically ruled from Rome and they both had their cultural beginnings in Babylon. They say "All roads lead to Rome" and they are right.
Today we hear protestant evangelical leaders touting the Catholic system. Billy Graham was famous for getting people saved then telling them they could remain in their false religious system; he is probably a Jesuit Priest, and is definitely a Master Mason, I can show you a picture of him receiving his certificate!
You never hear the Catholic Church complaining about the mishandling of Biblical scripture in regards to all of the false doctrine being spread around in the modern evangelical church; doctrines like Christlam, Dominionism, Emergent Church, Word Faith, Prosperity, Seeker Sensitive, Hebraic Movement, I could go on and on. Why? because they have a bunch of false doctrine of their own.
Right now, the one catholic person reading this blog is tearing his clothes, throwing dirt in the air and beating his chest, just like the Muslim next to him, but before you rush for your simitar and head for my house, do me one favor. Go take that dusty Vatican II Roman Catholic Catechism off the shelf and turn to paragraph 841 and read the following words:
841 The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."
This statement speaks for itself. It says several things that contradict Biblical scripture.
- Salvation does not include those who "acknowledge the Creator". Satan acknowledges the creator but I can guarantee you he does not have salvation.
- Muslims claim to hold the faith of Abraham, however, Abraham believed God (not Allah) and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Righteousness is only accounted to us when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Holding the faith of Abraham does not bring salvation.
- We do not adore the same God, but lets look at this in more detail. Who is "us" in the last phrase of this statement, the Catholic church universal? or the upper leadership who wrote the catechism? (by the way, Vatican II was edited by Joseph Ratzinger, the current Pope) maybe the upper leadership of the Vatican actually does worship Allah, they just don't let everyone else in on it - It must remain a "mystery". The Koran says that Jesus is not the Son of God, God has no son, God is not part of a trinity, Jesus was not crucified, and therefore could not have been raised from the dead. My God has a Son named Jesus who was crucified for my sins and was resurrected by God, so we do not adore the same God..
Since the Pope is "Infallible" (that means never wrong), and since he's the "Vicar of Christ" (means he is Christs representative on earth), then I have to assume he understood the Muslim faith when he approved this statement for publication, so we must rule out ignorance.
Ignorance being ruled out, we could assume that the Pope is trying to deceive someone. Now why would the most pious man on the planet use deceit? He's the Vicar of christ! for God's sake.
No, the reason is this - The leadership of the Catholic Church believes we all worship the same god and that there are many paths to that god. That is why the fundamental born again Christian is the enemy of the Catholic Church and Islam, not that it matters, but the Catholic Church says that I am not saved because I was not baptized in their church. That is why the Catholic church keeps her mouth shut on doctrinal issues that differ from the evangelical world. She knows she will be "in charge" for a short while at the end of the age and will be able to force feed her doctrine to all who are left after the rapture of the true church. That group will include all those reprobate, apostate, evangelical junk peddlers that are currently destroying Christianity.
The new world religion will start as a hybrid of Catholicism and Islam and the Catholic Church and her pagan, inclusive, deceiteful doctrines will be exposed and laid bare, destroying her and allowing the antichrist and Islam to take its place as the final One World Religion based in Babylon. This is just the beginning.
Time is short, Jesus paid the price for your salvation. All you have to do is believe this and accept his gift of grace for your life. Its not hard, its not work, its simple faith in what God has provided that you may have eternal life with him, accept it - its your only way out of this mess.
I can hear the faint blowing of the last trump, don't wait too long.
